Hosting

This website is hosted by netcup GmbH, Karlsruhe (Germany). When pages are accessed, the provider processes technically necessary server log data (including IP address, time, and file accessed) on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. A data processing agreement is in place.

No cookies, no tracking

This site sets no cookies and integrates no analytics or advertising services. No audience measurement involving personal data takes place.

Fonts

The fonts used are delivered with the website (self-hosted). No connection is made to Google Fonts.

Map (OpenStreetMap)

The "Getting Here" page includes a map. When the page loads, only a static preview image is shown – no connection to third parties is made. Only when you open the interactive map via the button are map contents loaded from the OpenStreetMap Foundation (openstreetmap.org); this transmits your IP address to their servers. The legal basis is your consent, given by that click (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).

This site links, among others, to the booking system and events calendar of the Cochem Local Authority. Their own privacy notices apply there.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure and restriction of processing, as well as a right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority (the Rhineland-Palatinate data protection commissioner, Landesbeauftragte für den Datenschutz Rheinland-Pfalz).
